Leighton Meester of Gossip Girl fame also has a music career. And she’s not bad, if you like pop/dance type music. She’ll be performing tracks from her unreleased album at The Underground (56 West Illinois Street) on January 1 at 10pm. Yours truly will be going and I’m actually looking forward to it. I haven’t done the club thing in a while and I’ve heard good things about The Underground and I like to see music performed live.
