There are not enough minority decision makers in the Chicago commercial real estate industry, according to a Sterling Bay executive whose job includes establishing partnerships with minority-owned businesses.

Earlier this year, Hugh Williams was hired for the newly created role of director of strategic growth and entrepreneurship at Sterling Bay, the Chicago-based developer whose projects include the $6 billion Lincoln Yards.
