MESA, Ariz. (CBS) — The Cubs enjoyed their last Cactus League game of the spring on Monday, hosting the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Nico Hoerner will start the season in minor league camp, but CBS 2’s Luke Stuckmeyer wondered if Jed Hoyer is so sure about that move after Hoerner’s performance on Monday.

Hoerner ripped a 3-run homer in the fourth inning.

The Cubs won 7-1. The next game counts – and will be against the Pittsburgh Padres at where else but Wrigley Field.
