Sheffield’s is bringing together 2 wonderful things on the first Wednesday of each month: drinks and literature. If you don’t think those go together as well as, say, chocolate and peanut butter, I will ask you to reconsider. First off, you won’t actually be required to read anything while you’re drinking. Secondly, there are drink specials and trivia and giveaways. There is also featured readings (yes, you can just listen) and guest readers. If you’re going to go out on a weeknight, why not try and fit some learning in too?
The next scheduled RUI at Sheffield’s [google map] (Oct. 7th) will be focusing on the book ‘Where The Wild Things Are’, which can sometimes read like a drunken story anyway, so put on your thinking cap and grab a beer. There is a $3 cover, special starts at 7pm and the readings begin at 7:30pm.
