CHICAGO – A death investigation is underway in the city’s South Deering neighborhood after police discovered a burned body near a vacant lot.
According to police, details remain limited, but officers were called to the 9900 block of S. Houston around 7:25 p.m. following reports of a fire.
No one is in custody.
