The race for the newly redrawn Illinois 6th Congressional District includes Democratic Reps. Sean Casten and Marie Newman. Seven candidates met May 4, 2022 at a Countryside forum. They include Reps. Casten and Newman and Republicans Niki Conforti, Rob Cruz, Gary Grasso, Scott Kaspar and Keith Pekau. Republican candidate Catherine O’Shea and Democratic candidate Charles Hughes did not respond to invitations, according to organizers.
