CHICAGO — Chicago firefighters are battling a fire at a Kenwood high-rise encompassing at least three floors.
According to CFD’s Twitter, the first floor affected was the 18th floor at the Harper Square Cooperative. The fire has spread to floors 15, 16 and 17.
At least one person has been transported in serious condition.
Just before 10:40 a.m., CFD tweeted video showing flames and smoke pouring out of the building.
