CHICAGO (CBS)– The Chicago Auto Show will return in July, marking the first large convention since the start of the pandemic.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced the return of the Auto Show on Twitter Tuesday, confirming the event will be help July 15 to July 19 at McCormick Place.

The @ChiAutoShow is back July 15-19 at @McCormick_Place.

While this marks the first large convention to take place since the COVID-19 pandemic began, we expect to welcome other conventions and tourist events this summer with safety precautions.
