CHICAGO (CBS) — A woman and a toddler were carjacked Thursday night, and according to a published report, the woman is a Cook County judge.
Police said, around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, a 52-year-old woman was pulling into a garage of a home in the 1500 block of North Campbell Avenue, with a 3-year-old boy in the back seat, when two men approached.
One of the men, who was holding a weapon, demanded the woman’s vehicle, and she complied. The two men fled the scene in her car.
No injuries were reported. The Sun-Times reports the victim is Cook County Judge Anna Loftus.
No one was in custody Friday afternoon.
