PILSEN — Day of the Dead is right around the corner.

The holiday is celebrated on November 1st and 2nd, but preparations have been underway for several weeks.

In fact, El Acambaro Bakery in Pilsen has been preparing and cooking the popular bread of the dead to help get a head start.

WGN News Now spoke with owner Erika Beltran about the dessert and its meaning.
