Festaparties.com is throwing another pub tour event this Saturday in Wrigleyville.  If you’re like me, any combination of pub crawls, free prizes, drink specials and day drinking are perfect for a Saturday afternoon (don’t worry, college football will be on everywhere you go).  Add in the fact that festaparties.com had over 500 participants in their first attempt at organizing a pub crawl and you have a winner.

The crawl begins at Harry Caray’s Tavern (3551 N. Sheffield) at 2 p.m. and doesn’t stop until you’ve gone through ten other bars and end at Murphy’s Bleachers (3653 N. Sheffield).  The beginning and end are located right by the Addison Red Line stop, providing just a short stumbling distance to get you back home, which is clutch.

Tickets are only $15, and that includes a Festa t-shirt to commemorate your crowning achievements of the day, cheap Miller Lite Specials at each bar, and a handful of prizes.  The theme of the day is football (shocking, right?) and all participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite football player or coach.  I can only wish that I had time to grow out my Ditka ‘stache.

There will also be a raffle.  If you are on top of the ball and order your tickets early you can earn a extra ticket for the raffle.  I’ll be shooting to win 1 of 3 sets of Bears tickets in the Miller Lite Party Deck, but would also settle for a rolling cooler, tailgating table, portable grill or a set of Bears bags.  Either way, with cheap deals and a good Chicago crowd this pub crawl should leave you drunk and happy.  Perfect for September.

The pub crawl begins at 2pm
