OAK PARK, Ill. — Illinois State Police confirmed Thursday they are assisting in a police-involved shooting in suburban Oak Park.
State police said the shooting happened on Harlem Avenue over I-290 around 7 a.m. Thursday. The shooting did not involve state police.
One person was seen being transported from the scene in an ambulance.
