CHICAGO — A 16-year-old girl was shot in the head Friday evening while in a West Side residence.
At around 6:50 p.m., police responded to the 4300 block of West Adams on the report of a person shot.
Police said a 16-year-old girl was inside a residence when she was shot in the head. The girl was transported to Mt. Sinai in critical condition.
A person of interest was taken in for questioning.
