A Minnesota-based manufacturer of tools and equipment plans to open its first Chicago-area store in November as part of its ongoing expansion plan.
Northern Tool + Equipment is slated to open a 23,600-square-foot store at 201 W. Rand Rd. in Mt. Prospect, a northern suburb, on Nov.13.
Last October it opened a store in Merrillville, Indiana, and has more than 120 stores nationally, including one in downstate O’Fallon, Illinois.
