Kane County’s third mass vaccination site opened Wednesday at the Eastside Recreation Center in Elgin. The site will be open Tuesdays through Sundays and officials hope to ramp up to about 1,000 shots per day. About 200 people received the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine Wednesday.
