CHICAGO (CBS) — COVID-19 is bringing jury trials in Lake County, Indiana to a temporary stop.
Superior Court Judge Salvador Vasquez stopped jury trials through Jan. 31.
Lake County has the highest seven-day positivity rate in the state — it’s now 28 percent.
Judges will re-evaluate the situation for February’s court docket.
