CHICAGO (AP) – Grain futures were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Sep. was off 5.75 cents at $7.66 a bushel; Sep. corn was up 8.75 cents at $5.9775 a bushel; Sep. oats fell 11.25 cents at $4.14 a bushel; while Aug. soybeans gained 31.75 cents at 15.9025 a bushel. Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Aug. live cattle fell .27 cent at $1.3765 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle was off .15 cent at $1.7867 a pound; Aug. lean hogs was up .02 cent at $1.2082 a pound.
