The much-talked about new movie “Elvis” will hit theaters this weekend.

WGN’s Dean Richards will be be giving the movie a great review later this week.  And even with its 2 hour and 39 minute running time,  every minute is used to perfection by director Baz Lurhmann to tell the story of the King of Rock and Roll in a way you’ve never seen before.

If you’re an Elvis fan, Lurhmann said that he also has a four-hour version of the movie that really takes a deep dive into Elvis’ life exists that could come out someday. 

He told Dean during an interview at Graceland recently that the younger audience can also relate to the singer.
