Multiple construction projects will close a pair of heavily trafficked Elgin roads. McLean Boulevard will be closed just south of Big Timber Road in both directions starting Tuesday. Railroad track repair will close the stretch of Kimball Street between Route 31 and Grove Avenue starting Sept. 23.
