Chicago’s Discovery Partners Institute made a big announcement on Friday.
The University of Illinois research center is partnering with CVS Health and Louisville, Kentucky-based technology services firm Interapt to offer a new program, Chicago/Skills.
The program will provide tuition-free technology training and paid apprenticeship opportunities to as many as 2,500 Chicagoans over five years, according to a news release.
