CHICAGO (CBS) — People living in south suburban Dixmoor have been dealing with water problems for weeks. Thursday, they’re meeting with engineers, hoping for a permanent solution.
Water pressure has improved for some Dixmoor residents, but service is not completely back to normal and a boil order remains in effect.
It’s been nearly two weeks since a water main break reduced water to a trickle for many families. The village is temporarily getting its water from Blue Island.
