CHICAGO — Candy corn may be the most divisive candy of all time. You either love it or you hate it.
There is no in between.
More than 35 billion pounds are produced annually, according to the ole’ NCA, National Confectioners Associations. And most of the that is consumed around Halloween.
It’s not exactly a trick-or-treat candy since it comes in large bags and usually not individual mini-size packaging.
That means people are just eating it straight out of the bag.
