Police have released survivance images of the dark-colored four-door Jeep allegedly used in the hit-and-run
Police are searching for a driver who allegedly struck a 61-year-old pedestrian crossing the street and fled the scene early Sunday in Park Manor.
A Jeep Renegade was traveling in the 400 block of East 71st Street when the driver ran a red light and struck the 61-year-old as he was crossing the intersection, Chicago police said.
The man was thrown to the ground and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, police said. The Jeep fled the incident, eastbound on 71st Street, police said.
Police released surveillance images of the dark-colored four-door Jeep allegedly used in the hit-and-run. The Jeep will have damage to the driver’s front amber side reflector, according to police.
