CHICAGO (CBS) — A 30-year-old woman crossing the street in Chicago’s River North neighborhood was hit by an SUV near Ontario and Clark early Monday morning.
Police say she was walking with two other people near Ontario and Clark around 2 a.m. when a Kia crashed into her.
She was hospitalized in fair condition with non-life threatening injuries.
The Kia sped off onto the expressway and got away, and police are searching for the driver.
