On Saturday, May 3, 2014, the Chicago chapter of The National Association of Professional Organizers, a 501(3c) Organization, is proud to present a community organizing event. Members of the chapter and other volunteers will be collecting items from the Chicagoland community for recycling, shredding, and donation to worthy charities. Accepted items will be papers for shredding, clothing, books, eyeglasses, electronics, furniture, kids toys, shoes, coats, blankets, kitchenware, computers, pots & pans, jewelry, linens, decor, accessories, games, media, sports equipment, and recyclables. Unaccepted items will be paint, hazardous waste, and medicine. Entrance will be on Western Ave., and there will be a limit of one car load per family.
