Fusing Eastern and Western culture with a 1940’s, big band twist, Hot Mikado swings into Loyola with the side-splitting story of Ko-Ko, the reluctant Lord High Executioner, Nanki-Poo, a disguised prince fleeing his arranged marriage, and Yum-Yum, the woman they both love. The hilarious complications which ensue turn this satire into an American mix of jazz, gospel, and vaudeville. More information can be found here: http://blogs.luc.edu/artsalive/portfolio/hot-mikado/
