I haven’t noticed this in past years, but pumpkin carving at bars is definitely a popular event this year. I first noticed it with a huge flow of traffic to our post about the pumpkin carving contest at Silver Cloud and in the RedEye this morning there are a few new ones listed.
Motel Bar, at 600 E. Chicago Ave., has a pumpkin carving event tonight at 6pm. There is no cover.
and Moonshine, at 1824 W. Division St., is having a carving contest that starts at 7pm.
So I highly recommend recording It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown for later viewing and heading to one of these fun events with your friends.
